Assessments

In my line of work I use assessments all the time. Mostly they're not formal assessments like standardized tests or checklists. I do a lot of observations and monitoring, watch kids at recess and in class. In groups and individual counseling I'll set up different activities or games to judge a students growth or abilities in certain areas. Sometimes it'll come from just talking or looking at their progress in home work and benchmark tests.
I use assessments all the time just to make sure I'm effectively doing my job.
